Meditation – Babil Khan Shares Perspective on Mindfulness and Personal Growth

Meditation – Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, has opened up about his understanding of meditation, offering a perspective that moves away from conventional practice. According to him, meditation should not be approached as a scheduled activity or a task to complete, but rather as a natural and continuous state of being.

Meditation as a Way of Living

Speaking about his personal approach, Babil explained that meditation is not something that should be confined to a fixed routine. Instead, he believes it should seamlessly blend into everyday life. He emphasized that true mindfulness comes when a person aligns their mindset and body in such a way that awareness flows effortlessly throughout the day.

In his words, meditation is less about sitting down for a specific duration and more about cultivating a mental state that remains steady and present in every moment. This approach, he suggested, allows individuals to remain grounded without consciously trying to “practice” meditation.

Importance of Self-Acceptance

Babil also highlighted the importance of accepting oneself fully. He pointed out that inner peace begins with acknowledging who you are, rather than resisting or criticizing your own identity. According to him, building a positive mindset is closely tied to self-love and confidence.

He noted that when individuals stop struggling against themselves and instead embrace their true nature, they are better equipped to face daily challenges. This sense of acceptance, he added, helps foster a deeper connection with oneself and brings a natural sense of calm.

Return to Film Sets

On the professional front, Babil has resumed work and is currently shooting for his next project in Bhopal. Earlier this month, he shared a brief glimpse from his vanity van, indicating his return to filming. While details about the project remain undisclosed, his comeback marks a significant step after a period away from the spotlight.

His journey in the film industry has been gradual. Babil initially worked behind the scenes as a camera assistant in the film Qarib Qarib Single. Over time, he transitioned into acting, building his career with careful choices and steady progress.

Career Highlights So Far

Babil made his acting debut in 2022 with the film Qala, where he starred alongside Triptii Dimri. His performance received positive feedback and established him as a promising newcomer. Following this, he appeared in Friday Night Plan, portraying the character of Siddharth Menon, the son of Juhi Chawla’s character.

He gained wider recognition with the series The Railway Men, which depicted the events surrounding the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Sharing screen space with actors like Divyendu Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, and R. Madhavan, Babil’s performance further strengthened his presence in the industry.

In addition to acting, he has also explored physical training, including Muay Thai sessions in Thailand, reflecting his commitment to personal growth both on and off screen.

A Break and Reflection

Despite his rising career, Babil took a six-month break from work and social media. This came after he publicly expressed feelings of isolation within the film industry. In a candid moment, he appeared emotional while discussing his experiences, which resonated with many of his followers.

His recent return suggests a renewed focus and a willingness to move forward with greater clarity. By sharing his thoughts on meditation and self-acceptance, Babil continues to engage with audiences beyond his on-screen roles
