IranMissiles – IRGC Launches New Wave of Missile and Drone Strikes

IranMissiles – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday that it had carried out a new stage of its ongoing military campaign, described as the 23rd phase of “Operation True Promise 4.” According to Iran’s state broadcaster Press TV, the latest operation involved the use of advanced missile systems and drones targeting what Tehran described as American military installations and locations inside the occupied territories.

Combined Missile and Drone Assault Announced

In an official statement issued by the IRGC Public Relations Office, Iranian forces said the newest phase of the operation involved a coordinated attack combining both missile launches and unmanned aerial systems. The operation reportedly took place earlier on Friday and was designed to strike several strategic locations simultaneously.

The statement indicated that the offensive made use of upgraded weapon systems capable of reaching multiple high-value targets across the region. Iranian officials described the attack as part of a broader campaign aimed at responding to what they consider ongoing military pressure from the United States and Israel.

Advanced Missile Systems Reportedly Used

According to the IRGC, the strike involved both solid-fuel and liquid-fuel missiles from a new generation of Iranian missile technology. Officials stated that these projectiles were directed at various locations described as key operational targets.

Iranian state media reported that the weapons deployed during the operation included several well-known missile systems in Iran’s arsenal. These reportedly included the Khorramshahr-4 missile, the Kheibar missile, and the Fattah missile, all of which Tehran has previously presented as part of its expanding missile capabilities.

The IRGC claimed that these systems were launched from multiple missile bases, which it described as part of a coordinated and continuous network designed to support sustained military operations.

US Military Facilities Among Reported Targets

The IRGC statement specifically identified several US military installations that were allegedly struck during the operation. Among the locations named were facilities associated with American forces at Sheikh Isa and Juffair in Bahrain, Ali al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, and al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan.

Iranian officials described these bases as headquarters for US forces operating in the region. The statement said they were selected due to their strategic role in supporting American military activities across the Middle East.

Independent confirmation of the reported strikes and their impact was not immediately available at the time of the announcement.

Technology and Security Sites Also Targeted

In addition to military bases, Iranian state media reported that the operation extended to areas within Be’er Sheva, a city described as a significant technology center. According to the IRGC, certain facilities linked to advanced technology research, cybersecurity operations, and military support services were included among the targets.

Iranian authorities said these locations were considered important components of Israel’s technological and security infrastructure.

The announcement emphasized that the attacks were conducted with precision weapons designed to reach sensitive sites.

Iran Frames Operation as Strategic Response

Earlier in the day, the IRGC praised what it called the “precise and flawless execution” of missile launches conducted from its network of missile bases. Iranian officials described the operation as a demonstration of the country’s military readiness and missile capabilities.

The statement also suggested that the operation was intended to counter international claims that Iran’s missile and drone programs had weakened in recent years. Iranian military leaders said the latest wave of strikes was meant to show that their capabilities remain operational and effective.

Tensions Follow Recent Regional Escalation

The strikes come after what Iranian authorities describe as a new round of military pressure from the United States and Israel over the past week. Tehran has characterized those developments as acts of aggression against Iranian territory.

Iranian officials said their ongoing campaign has already reached targets inside several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The IRGC also claimed that Iranian forces had previously struck major maritime assets in the region, including the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and a US destroyer operating in the Indian Ocean.

Regional tensions remain high as governments across the Middle East closely monitor the situation. No immediate international response to the latest claims had been formally announced at the time of reporting.
