PM Modi : is worried about the reported drone strike on Putin’s home by Ukraine
PM Modi: Amidst the continuing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has voiced worries over rumors of assaults on President Vladimir Putin’s house. According to PM Modi, in order to bring about peace, the hostilities should be ended diplomatically.

“Very alarmed by reports that the Russian Federation President’s residence was targeted.” The most practical way to put an end to hostilities and bring about peace is via persistent diplomatic efforts. We urge everyone involved to be committed to these initiatives and not from taking any steps that would jeopardize them,” PM Modi wrote on X.
Russia claims that Putin’s home was targeted by 100 long-range Ukrainian drones.
Nearly 100 long-range Ukrainian drones tried to hit President Vladimir Putin’s country home in the Novgorod area, north of the city, according to Russian officials on Monday. According to PTI, Russian military successfully intercepted the drone assaults, which occurred overnight from Sunday to Monday, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared in a televised address that there was no damage.
Lavrov said that the incident was an attempt by Ukraine to sabotage ongoing peace negotiations. Russia has the right to react to the event whenever it sees fit, he stressed.
Although he said that peace discussions will continue with US President Donald Trump’s aides, the foreign minister also hinted that Moscow would reevaluate its strategy for talks with Ukraine.
Trump’s response to the “attack”
US President Donald Trump, who is negotiating a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, responded to rumors of an assault on Putin’s home by saying he received a call from the Russian president informing him of the situation. Trump said that the news was bad and that he became “extremely angry” upon hearing it.
Who informed me about that, do you know? Early in the morning, President Putin claimed to have been assaulted. It’s not good. “I’m furious,” he murmured.
Additionally, he acknowledged that the accusation may not be true, saying that it was “possible” the assault did not take place.
