Shankar: Renowned filmmaker says, “Sirai” brought me to tears
Shankar: The highly praised film “Sirai” by rookie filmmaker Suresh Rajakumari has received a lot of appreciation from renowned director Shankar, who said that it “really moved him to tears in many places.”

Shankar, regarded as one of the top filmmakers in the Tamil and Telugu cinema industry, posted on his X timeline, saying, “#Sirai- Such a good film.” In numerous instances, it really brought me to tears. I adored every character and their performances, which stuck with me long after the movie ended.”
The director continued by praising each of the actors for their exceptional performances in the movie. He wrote: “@iamVikramPrabhu performed resolutely throughout the movie. #LKAkshayKumar and #AnishmaAnilkumar’s performances brilliantly conveyed the emotions and innocence of their characters.”
“My heartfelt wishes to the producer #SSLalitKumar for bringing us this gem,” Shankar said, congratulating the film’s producer. With his superb debut, director #SureshRajakumari captured our hearts. The last scene’s message was sound and very pertinent. Tamil cinema had a successful year-end.
The movie “Sirai,” which has had a great start at the box office, has received a lot of positive reviews from different audiences. As you may remember, cricketer Ravichandra Ashwin recently gave the movie high marks.

For those who don’t know, Vikram Prabhu and L K Akshay Kumar play the main roles in this compelling police drama.
Recall that director Suresh Rajakumari received a vehicle from producer S S Lalit Kumar, who was optimistic about the movie’s success even before it was released, in appreciation of the way he had produced it.
At a pre-release ceremony hosted by the film’s producers, the director’s mother was given the automobile. In front of several celebrities and members of the media, renowned filmmaker Vetrimaaran, who had trained director Suresh Rajakumari, gave the director’s mother the car’s key.
The film is based on a true tale and was directed by Tamizh, who is best known for directing the highly regarded movie “Taanakaran.” It is said that Tamizh drew inspiration for this tale from a personal experience.
This film was written and directed by renowned filmmaker Vetrimaran’s co-director, Suresh Rajakumari.
L K Akshay Kumar, the son of producer SS Lalit Kumar, will make his acting debut in this film, which stars Vikram Prabhu as the main and actress Anantha as his partner. In the movie, actress Anishma portrays Akshay Kumar’s partner.
Renowned music director Justin Prabhakaran composed the soundtrack for the movie. Madesh Manickam is responsible for the film’s cinematography. Philomin Raj, one of the top editors in the industry, edited the movie. Prabhu has choreographed the stunts. Manikandan and Arun K are executive producers of the movie.
Chennai, Sivagangai, and Vellore were among the locations where the movie was filmed.
