Rajasthan BJP: Congress is now causing misunderstanding on Aravalli

Rajasthan BJP: Ramlal Sharma and Kailash Verma, spokespersons for the Rajasthan BJP, vehemently denounced the false claims and misunderstandings that Congressmen Govind Singh Dotasra and Pratap Singh Khachariyawas were spreading on the mining in the Aravalli area.

Ramlal Sharma said that the Congress has a long history of deceiving the people via appeasement politics at a news conference held at the state BJP headquarters on Tuesday.

He said that Congress leaders are now disseminating false information on mining in the Aravalli area after previously attempting to mislead the public on matters like the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

Sharma promised the Rajasthani people that not a single stone in the Aravalli range will be damaged under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhajan Lal Sharma-led BJP administration.

He said that the goal of the Central and state governments is to completely prohibit illicit mining and provide a precise definition of the Aravalli protected region.

“Until a comprehensive plan is prepared based on the new definition, no new mining leases will be issued.”

According to him, the Congress administration established the Aravalli range in 2002, when the greatest number of mining licenses were granted.

Additionally, the Congress established the 100-meter rule, which allowed mining to go on for many years. On the other hand, even if they are below the previous 100-meter limit, the planned 2025 regulations would conserve regions within 500 meters of the Aravalli range,” he said.

According to BJP leader Sharma, this demonstrates unequivocally that the new regulations would drastically cut down on mining operations.

He said that the Congress was leveling unfounded accusations against the BJP-led Rajasthan government while trying to conceal its own shortcomings.

He accused the Congress of making unfounded accusations of unlawful mining and urged the leaders of the Congress to provide any environmental preservation or tree-planting initiatives that their party had started.

He emphasized BJP programs like the 750-acre planting campaigns and the “Ek Ped Maa ke Naam” campaign.

He said that throughout the last two years, the state government, which is run by the BJP, has taken strong action against illicit mining.

“During this period, 20,526 cases were registered, Rs 211.26 crore was recovered as fines, 2,228 FIRs were filed, 1,175 people were arrested, and 19,744 vehicles and machines were seized.”

“In the Aravalli region alone, 10,966 cases were registered, Rs 136.78 crore was recovered, 1,002 FIRs were filed, 10,616 vehicles were seized, and 300 arrests were made.”

Congress politicians don’t even know what the Aravalli Hills are, according to state BJP spokesperson Kailash Verma.

Both Chief Minister Sharma and State Forest and Environment Minister Sanjay Sharma have said that the Aravalli range would not be destroyed, he said, adding that the issue is subjudice.

“Despite this, Congress leaders continue to spread misinformation for political gain.”

Verma also criticized Congress lawmakers for their words and language, claiming that the use of derogatory phrases like “organized gang” shows a lack of political etiquette.

He said that members of Congress politicized topics only to stay in the spotlight.

Verma responded to the Congress’s criticism on the MNREGA scheme’s renaming by stating that the Congress has a history of naming initiatives after a single political dynasty, but the BJP named it after Lord Ram.

He gave instances like rebranding Chief Minister Jal Swavalamban Yojana as Rajiv Gandhi, Annapurna as Indira Rasoi, and Ayushman Bharat as Chiranjeevi. Deendayal Teerth Yojana as Teerth Darshan and Jal Swavalamban.

He ended by telling the Rajasthani people that the Aravalli Hills are totally secure and that the state administration, headed by Bhajan Lal Sharma, is totally dedicated to protecting the environment.
