The dead and wounded were part of a group traveling to the Prime Minister’s event, according to the police. It has been discovered that the district of Murshidabad is home to all of the wounded and dead.

Senior railway and police officials hurried to the scene as soon as they heard about the event. To find out what caused the accident, an investigation is being conducted.

The event happened close to the Taherpur station. It has been reported that 40 individuals traveled from Murshidabad to join PM Modi’s rally on Friday evening. According to reports, they are all from the Burwan region’s Sabaldah hamlet. In the early morning, several of them walked to the railroad lines to urinate. Four of them were flung onto the tracks when they were struck by an incoming train. They perished immediately as a result of their serious injuries. Two critically ill patients were brought to the nearby Shaktinagar Hospital. One person’s condition is severe, according to hospital authorities.

On the surface, it seems that this morning’s heavy fog greatly restricted visibility, which led to the disaster. The collision occurred because the train was not visible. Other factors, however, are also being looked at.

“Two people who were close to the railroad lines were hurt, and four people who were struck by a train perished instantly. They are receiving medical care at a hospital. It happened early in the morning. “A senior officer of the Nadia district police stated that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.”

In the midst of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already arrived in Taherpur, Nadia, to speak at a public gathering.
