PM Modi: will travel to Jordan, Ethiopia, and Oman as part of a three-nation visit.
King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein has invited PM Modi to visit Jordan, and he will do so on Monday. Prime Minister Modi will meet King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein during the two-day visit to the Hashemite Kingdom in order to discuss regional concerns and examine the full range of ties between Jordan and India.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), this visit commemorates the 75th anniversary of the two nations’ diplomatic relations being established, offers a chance to deepen India-Jordan bilateral engagement, look into new opportunities for cooperation for mutual development and prosperity, and reaffirm our commitment to advancing regional peace, prosperity, security, and stability.
Prime Minister Modi will make a state visit to Ethiopia starting on December 16 at the invitation of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali. PM Modi will be visiting the African country for the first time.
“He will have extensive talks with Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali on every facet of bilateral relations between Ethiopia and India. According to a statement released by the MEA, “the visit will be a reiteration of the two countries’ shared commitment to advance close ties of friendship and bilateral cooperation as partners in the Global South.”
Prime Minister Modi will go to Oman on December 17–18 as part of his last phase of the trip, at the request of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
“Century-old friendships, commercial connections, and solid people-to-people links serve as the foundation for India and Oman’s comprehensive strategic partnership. The visit, which comes after His Majesty the Sultan of Oman’s state visit to India in December 2023, will commemorate 70 years since the two nations first established diplomatic ties. In addition to exchanging opinions on regional and international issues of shared interest, this visit will provide both parties with the chance to thoroughly examine their bilateral partnership in the areas of trade, investment, energy, defense, security, technology, agriculture, and culture, according to the MEA.
PM Modi will be visiting Oman for the second time.
