Instagram user @adityasoni01 posted a popular video showing himself pouring a “mini Maggi pill capsule” into boiling water, and noodles come out of nowhere in a matter of seconds. In only two days, the video had around 30 million views, and many people believed it to be a real product.

A similar video was tweeted by another artist, @mehaklalwaniart, who claimed to have purchased the capsule from BlinkIt. The trend grew even further when her video received over 6 million views.
Is any of this real, though?
No, not at all. AI was used to create both videos. In an attempt to dispel the misunderstanding, Maggi India commented underneath the clip, saying, “Pls don’t celebrate April Fool’s day in other months.” Additionally, a lot of people pointed up bugs that revealed the digital trick.
