Akhilesh Yadav- Launches Vision India Campaign to Back Students Nationwide
Akhilesh Yadav- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has announced a nationwide campaign named “Vision India” with a focus on addressing recurring examination paper leaks and other issues affecting students across the country. The initiative aims to encourage discussions on education reforms while presenting a broader roadmap for what he described as a progressive and inclusive future for India.

Vision India Presented as a Roadmap for Change
In a statement shared through his official X account on Saturday, Akhilesh Yadav said the Vision India campaign is designed to support the creation of a “Neo India” that promotes equal opportunities and balanced development. According to him, the movement seeks to build a nation where growth reaches every section of society without discrimination and where public policies are guided by fairness and practical solutions.
He stated that many citizens continue to face challenges in their daily lives, making it necessary to adopt a fresh approach to governance and development. Through Vision India, the party intends to encourage constructive dialogue and present ideas that focus on long-term progress rather than temporary measures.
Sharp Criticism of the Education System
While introducing the campaign, Akhilesh Yadav also criticized the functioning of the current education and examination system. He alleged that repeated incidents of question paper leaks, cancelled recruitment examinations, delays in filling government vacancies, and changes in evaluation and reservation-related policies have created uncertainty among students and job seekers.
According to his statement, these issues have weakened confidence in the recruitment process and increased concerns over employment opportunities for young people. He argued that repeated disruptions have affected the academic and professional aspirations of thousands of candidates preparing for competitive examinations.
Concerns Over Schools and Teaching Environment
The Samajwadi Party chief further claimed that teachers are increasingly occupied with administrative responsibilities instead of classroom teaching. He also expressed concern over the reported closure of primary schools in several areas, saying such developments could have a lasting impact on the quality of education.
In addition, he alleged that ideological influence is expanding within higher education institutions, including postgraduate studies. Referring to the current situation, he said that limited policy adjustments would not be sufficient and called for comprehensive reforms to restore confidence in the country’s education system.
First Conference Scheduled in Prayagraj
As part of the newly announced campaign, the first Vision India conference is scheduled to take place in Prayagraj on June 29. The event will focus on the theme, “Education-Examination: Why the System Has Collapsed.”
The conference is expected to bring together participants for discussions on examination reforms, transparency in recruitment processes, and the broader challenges facing students. The campaign marks the beginning of a series of public engagements through which the party plans to highlight issues related to education, employment, and governance.
