YouthConvention –  Thousands of young people from across India are set to gather at Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday for the ‘Youth for Viksit Bharat – MY Bharat Youth Convention’, an event designed to highlight the role of young citizens in shaping the country’s future. Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), which operates under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the convention is expected to become one of the largest youth-focused gatherings of the year.

Platform for India’s Emerging Generation

The convention, scheduled around midday, has been planned in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering young people to play a leading role in achieving the goals outlined under the Viksit Bharat @2047 roadmap. Officials said the programme aims to encourage active participation from the youth in national progress and public leadership.

More than 6,000 participants are expected to attend the event. The gathering will bring together students, professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, content creators, social contributors and young achievers from different regions of the country. Organisers say the broad representation reflects the aspirations and diversity of India’s younger generation.

Senior Leaders and Notable Guests to Attend

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta are expected to be among the key dignitaries present at the convention. Several distinguished guests, youth icons and influential personalities from different sectors will also join the programme.

The event has been designed as a forum where accomplished individuals can share their experiences with aspiring young leaders. Organisers believe such interactions can inspire participants to contribute meaningfully to social development and nation-building efforts.

Prominent Personalities to Interact With Participants

A number of well-known figures from sports, entertainment, business and digital media are expected to engage with attendees. These include national sprint record holder Gurindervir Singh, actor Vikrant Massey, boAt Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Aman Gupta, and Olympic medal winner Aman Sehrawat.

Successful UPSC candidates and popular content creators such as Malhar Kalambe and RJ Raunac are also expected to participate. Their sessions are likely to focus on leadership, innovation, public service and personal achievement, offering valuable insights to the audience.

Recognition for Outstanding Young Achievers

The convention will also feature a special segment honouring young individuals who have excelled in areas such as sports, entrepreneurship, governance and content creation. According to organisers, recognising these achievements is intended to motivate more young people to pursue excellence while contributing positively to society.

The recognition programme is expected to highlight stories of determination, innovation and service from different parts of the country.

Celebration of Guinness World Records Achievement

Another major highlight of the event will be the celebration of MY Bharat’s recent Guinness World Records recognition. The organisation earned the record for the “Most Users to Take an Online Quiz in One Week” through the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz initiative.

Officials stated that the nationwide campaign attracted participation from more than 50 lakh young people across all 28 states and eight Union Territories. During the assessment period, 390,812 participants successfully completed the quiz, resulting in the creation of a new world record.

Strengthening Youth Participation in Nation Building

The Ministry said the achievement demonstrates the growing enthusiasm among young Indians to engage with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It also reflects increasing trust in MY Bharat as a platform that encourages meaningful participation in the country’s development journey.

According to an official statement, the convention will celebrate the ambitions, accomplishments and potential of India’s youth while reinforcing their role in building a developed, inclusive and self-reliant nation. By bringing together participants from every corner of the country, the event is expected to underline the collective commitment of the younger generation towards India’s long-term growth and progress.
