Vande Bharat – A Vande Bharat Express service experienced a short interruption on Sunday after colliding with a buffalo near Hindupur railway station in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district. Incident Reported Near Railway Crossing
The incident took place close to the Devarajupalli railway gate while the train was travelling from Kacheguda to Bengaluru. According to railway authorities, the animal unexpectedly entered the railway track as the train approached the station area.
The locomotive pilot acted immediately after the impact, bringing the train to a halt and informing railway control officials about the situation. Emergency response procedures were initiated without delay to assess the condition of the train and ensure passenger safety.
