The incident took place on Thursday, July 16, at Siddheshwari Apartment in the Rukmini Nagar area, where the child was reportedly attacked by a group of stray dogs. She was rushed to a hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where doctors have been closely monitoring her condition.

The injured girl has been identified as Sanidi Sachin Kaware, the daughter of a private car driver. According to local reports, the attack occurred near her residential locality, leaving her with multiple bite wounds across her face. Medical professionals described the injuries as extremely serious, stating that significant facial tissue had been damaged during the incident. The severity of the wounds made her face almost unrecognizable when she was brought to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Doctors attending to Sanidi confirmed that her condition has stabilized following immediate medical intervention. Dr. Anand Kakani from the civic hospital explained that extensive reconstructive treatment is likely to be required due to the loss of facial tissue. He noted that plastic surgery may become necessary to restore the affected areas once her overall health improves.
The medical team also pointed out that victims of animal bites require continuous monitoring for possible complications.
