Modi: accuses the TMC of infiltration and claims that the Bihar results “opened doors” for the BJP to win Bengal
Modi: virtually addressed a rally in Taherpur on Saturday, saying that the results of the recently ended Bihar assembly elections had “opened up doors” for the BJP’s win in West Bengal after heavy fog prevented his chopper from landing at the location.

The prime minister’s helicopter briefly hovered above the temporary helipad at Taherpur before making a U-turn and returning to Kolkata airport due to poor visibility, according to authorities.
This was Modi’s third trip to the state in the last five months and his first after the release of the draft SIR rolls.
He was supposed to launch national highway improvements and speak at a public rally during the trip, which coincides with increased political tensions over the current SIR exercise.
“The nation now desires quick progress. The NDA administration was once again given a huge development mandate by Bihar. The BJP’s triumph in Bengal has also been made possible by Bihar,” Modi said.
PM Modi attacked the Trinamool Congress (TMC), comparing it to his accusations of “jungle raj” against the RJD in Bihar. He said that the BJP will put a stop to their “Maha jungle raj” in West Bengal.
“Bihar has firmly opposed the ‘jungle raj’ system of governance. They have handed the BJP-NDA more seats than they did twenty years ago. He said, “We will put an end to the TMC’s ‘Maha jungle raj’ in Bengal, where nepotism, corruption, and appeasement politics are in power.”
The prime minister said, “Let the TMC oppose me and the BJP as much as it wants, but Bengal’s progress should not be stopped.”
Additionally, Modi said that infiltrators benefited from the TMC’s support in the state and that the party opposed the SIR effort in order to keep them unidentified.
