He also highlighted that the village’s historic temple, regarded as a smaller representation of the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri, has undergone restoration work during the past two years.
Extending his greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion, Sai expressed hope that the annual procession would continue to be celebrated with the same devotion for generations to come. He said the rituals performed during the festival were dedicated to the well-being and progress of the state.

Hundreds of devotees assembled to participate in the procession, pulling large, beautifully decorated wooden chariots carrying the idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra through the streets of the city and surrounding valley areas. The event drew participation from people of different age groups who gathered to witness the traditional procession.
Devotees Offer Prayers Along the Procession Route
As the chariots moved through designated routes, worshippers stopped at various locations to offer prayers and present fruits, flowers, and sweets as part of the religious customs. The atmosphere remained filled with devotional chants and ceremonial rituals, reflecting the cultural and spiritual importance of the annual festival.
