Chief Minister Reviews Readiness at Refinery Site

During his visit to the refinery, the Chief Minister held an extensive meeting with officials from HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) and the district administration to assess the status of preparations. Discussions focused on operational readiness, security planning, transport management, and arrangements for the inauguration ceremony. Officials presented updates on ongoing work, while Sharma instructed all departments to complete the remaining tasks within the scheduled timeframe to ensure smooth execution of the Prime Minister’s visit.

Focus on Logistics and Security Measures

The review meeting, which continued for nearly ninety minutes, examined every major aspect related to the upcoming inauguration. Authorities evaluated crowd management plans, traffic movement, emergency response systems, and security deployment around the refinery premises. The state government emphasized close coordination between administrative agencies and project officials so that all arrangements are completed without delay.

On reaching the refinery helipad, the Chief Minister was received by Minister-in-Charge Joraram Kumawat, Minister K.K. Bishnoi, legislators Hamir Singh Bhayal, Arun Chaudhary, Aaduram Meghwal, and senior administrative officers.

Project Expected to Strengthen State Economy

Speaking to reporters after the inspection, Sharma said the refinery represents a significant milestone for western Rajasthan and reflects years of planning and investment. According to him, the project has the potential to accelerate industrial activity while encouraging fresh investments across the region. He also stated that the refinery is expected to generate employment, improve business opportunities, and contribute to the state’s economic development over the coming years.

The Chief Minister further said that several infrastructure initiatives have progressed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that Rajasthan has witnessed steady growth through projects implemented over recent years. He expressed confidence that continued investment in infrastructure and industry would help the state maintain its development momentum.

Temple Visit Before Major Inauguration

Before concluding his visit, Sharma offered prayers at the revered Sambhara Ashapura Mata Temple. He sought blessings for the successful commissioning of the refinery and expressed hope for the continued prosperity and welfare of the people of Rajasthan.

Earlier Delay Followed Technical Incident

The refinery was originally expected to be inaugurated on April 21. However, the ceremony was postponed after a fire occurred in the CDU-VDU unit a day before the scheduled event. Following technical assessments and the completion of necessary corrective measures, authorities have confirmed that the refinery is now ready for formal inauguration.

Officials from HRRL, along with district authorities, have intensified efforts over the past several days to complete operational checks, logistical planning, and security arrangements before the Prime Minister’s arrival.

Major Industrial Milestone for Rajasthan

The upcoming inauguration is being viewed as one of Rajasthan’s most important industrial events in recent years. The Pachpadra Refinery is expected to support downstream industries, encourage investment, and strengthen the state’s manufacturing ecosystem. Government officials believe the project will also create direct and indirect employment while contributing to regional economic development through improved industrial infrastructure and increased business activity.
