Education – RSS Leader Highlights Growing Youth Focus on Nation Building
Education – Education and social harmony continue to shape discussions around India’s future development as leaders and community representatives increasingly stress the importance of youth participation in national progress.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar on Sunday spoke about what he described as a gradual positive shift taking place across the country. Addressing the Muslim Students and Youth Conference in New Delhi, he said that young people are showing a growing interest in using education as a tool for strengthening the nation and contributing to its long-term development.
According to Kumar, the conference reflected a message of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation among communities. He stated that the gathering encouraged people to move beyond differences and work collectively toward common national goals. He also noted that efforts aimed at creating divisions between communities would ultimately fail if citizens remained committed to unity and shared progress.
Conference Focuses on Youth and Social Cohesion
During his interaction at the event, Kumar emphasized the role of students and young citizens in shaping the country’s future. He said that educational advancement, when directed toward constructive national objectives, can help create a stronger and more prosperous India.
The conference brought together participants from different backgrounds and highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation. Organizers and speakers underscored the need for peaceful coexistence and greater engagement among communities, particularly among younger generations.
Bhagwat Speaks on India’s Global Responsibility
The remarks came days after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed a public gathering at the conclusion of the RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varg-Dwitiya programme in Nagpur. During his speech, Bhagwat said that India has the potential to emerge as a guiding force for the world through the principles of Dharma.
He cautioned, however, that various forces continue to attempt to create social divisions and instability. According to Bhagwat, such efforts seek to weaken cultural traditions and values, either directly or indirectly, posing challenges to national unity and progress.
Concerns Over Social Division and Cultural Influence
Bhagwat observed that attempts to influence society and dilute traditional values remain a concern. Despite these challenges, he said India must continue moving forward and fulfil what he described as its broader responsibility to offer constructive ideas and direction to the global community.
His address focused on the importance of preserving social cohesion while maintaining confidence in the country’s cultural foundations. He stressed that unity and stability remain essential for achieving long-term national objectives.
Strength Seen as Key to International Influence
Speaking about global affairs, Bhagwat argued that moral correctness alone is often insufficient in international relations. He said nations must also possess economic, strategic, and institutional strength if they want their perspectives to carry weight on the world stage.
Referring to developments in international politics, Bhagwat noted that stronger countries frequently shape outcomes according to their interests, while less powerful nations often have limited influence over major decisions. He emphasized that building national capability is therefore essential for securing a respected position in global affairs.
The recent statements by RSS leaders reflect ongoing discussions around education, youth engagement, social unity, cultural values, and India’s role in an increasingly competitive international environment
