The multi-level structure contained a large quantity of electronic goods, including appliances and related materials. Much of the stock stored inside was reportedly damaged in the blaze.
Losses Expected to Run Into Crores
A Delhi Fire Services official said the final assessment of the loss is still being carried out. However, the initial estimate suggests that electronic goods and other materials worth several crore rupees may have been destroyed.
The scale of the damage will be determined after the showroom management and relevant authorities complete a detailed inspection of the site. Officials have not yet released a confirmed value of the losses.
