CBSE Results – Rahul Gandhi Questions Evaluation Process Amid Tampering Allegations
CBSE Results – Concerns over the CBSE examination assessment process intensified on Wednesday after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused authorities of failing to provide clear answers regarding alleged irregularities in the evaluation system. The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said students and parents across the country deserve transparency and accountability from both the government and the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Rahul Gandhi Raises Questions Over Evaluation Process
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Rahul Gandhi criticized the response issued by authorities, saying a simple denial could not resolve growing concerns surrounding the evaluation of CBSE examination papers. He questioned why the Education Ministry and CBSE had not addressed what he described as “four simple questions” related to the issue.
Gandhi stated that the matter directly affects the future of nearly 18.5 lakh students and stressed that uncertainty surrounding the examination process has created anxiety among candidates and their families. According to him, students deserve clarity regarding the functioning of the evaluation mechanism and the safeguards in place.
Demand for Independent Investigation
The Congress leader also called for an independent judicial inquiry along with a Special Investigation Team probe into the alleged discrepancies. He claimed the situation pointed toward serious lapses in the examination system and alleged that the controversy could not be dismissed without a thorough investigation.
Gandhi further alleged that the issue may involve deliberate negligence and questioned the process through which contracts related to the evaluation system were awarded. He argued that accountability was necessary considering the large number of students impacted by the examination results.
Allegations Linked to Technology Contractor
In his remarks, Rahul Gandhi referred to a company identified as COEMPT, which he claimed had previously operated under another name, Globarena. According to him, the earlier entity had faced controversy in Telangana in 2019 over examination-related issues.
He alleged that despite past concerns linked to the company, responsibility for the evaluation-related system was still assigned to it. Gandhi claimed that such decisions raised serious questions about oversight and transparency in the management of the assessment process.
The Congress leader further said that millions of students and parents were disturbed by the developments and accused the government of avoiding accountability on the issue.
CBSE Rejects Claims of Security Breach
The Central Board of Secondary Education, however, strongly denied allegations that its On-Screen Marking system had been compromised. In an official statement released on Tuesday, CBSE clarified that the web link circulating on social media was unrelated to the actual portal used for evaluating answer sheets.
The board maintained that its official evaluation platform remained secure and free from vulnerabilities. CBSE also stated that misinformation being circulated online had created unnecessary confusion among students and parents.
Officials emphasized that the digital system used for checking answer books follows established security protocols and that no evidence of tampering had been found. The board urged people not to rely on unverified information shared on social media platforms.
Growing Political Attention on Education Issues
The controversy has drawn wider political attention as debates continue over transparency and reliability in major examination systems across the country. Education experts have often stressed the importance of maintaining trust in public examination processes because millions of students depend on them for academic and career opportunities.
With students and parents seeking clarity, the issue is expected to remain a subject of political and public discussion in the coming days. Any further response from the Education Ministry or CBSE may play a key role in addressing concerns surrounding the examination evaluation process.
