Amit Shah: On Wednesday in Panchkula, Haryana, Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd. (KRIBHCO) will host a national cooperative conference themed “Prosperity through Cooperation — Role of Cooperatives in Sustainable Agriculture.”

It will discuss issues pertaining to policy and implementation in order to support sustainable agriculture, increase the function of primary agricultural credit societies (PACS), guarantee small and marginal farmers’ income stability, and fortify cooperative-based agricultural models in light of the difficulties presented by climate change.
The conference’s main guest will be Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah, marking a major step in implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious idea of “Prosperity through Cooperation.”
Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, will attend the conference as a special guest.
The Milk Cooling Center at the Salempur plant in Bhiwani and the HAFED Atta Mill at Jatusana in Rewari will be e-inaugurated by Union Minister Shah on this occasion.
On this occasion, the Union Minister will also give registration certificates to the presidents of M-PACS formed by Haryana KRIBHCO and RuPay Platinum Debit Cards to the beneficiaries of Haryana’s cooperative banks.
Additionally, he will launch a website that will highlight the several initiatives being carried out during the International Year of Cooperatives.
The conference will place particular focus on the sharing of cutting-edge agricultural information, the availability of reasonably priced loans, the adoption of contemporary technology, and the provision of organic and climate-resilient farming methods to farmers via the cooperative framework.
