MissileStrikes –  A sharp rise in hostilities between Iran and Israel unfolded on Monday as both sides reported military operations targeting strategic locations, further intensifying concerns about stability across the Middle East.

Iran israel military strikes escalate

Iranian Forces Claim Retaliatory Air Base Strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its aerospace division carried out strikes against two key Israeli military installations, identified as Nevatim and Tel Nof air bases. According to a statement released through the IRGC’s official media platform, the action was presented as a response to Israeli attacks that reportedly targeted radar facilities at multiple sites inside Iran earlier the same day.

The military organization stated that its operational and combat units remain on full alert and prepared to conduct further missions if required. Iranian officials characterized the targeted Israeli facilities as strategically significant, underscoring the seriousness of the latest exchange.

Explosions Reported Across Several Iranian Regions

Reports from Iranian media indicated that several explosions were heard in different parts of the country during the early hours of Monday. Incidents were reported west of Tehran, while additional blasts were heard in the central province of Isfahan and near the northwestern city of Tabriz.

Local sources cited by media outlets said the sounds were linked to ongoing military activity, though authorities did not immediately provide detailed assessments regarding damage or casualties. The developments added to growing uncertainty as military actions continued on both sides.

Israeli Military Confirms Operations Inside Iran

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the Israeli Air Force conducted strikes against military-related targets located in western and central Iran. The announcement was shared through the military’s official communication channels on Monday morning.

The operation followed a series of escalating confrontations that have expanded beyond previous flashpoints in the region. Security analysts have noted that direct exchanges between the two countries have increased concerns about a broader regional conflict.

Previous Missile Launches Linked to Lebanon Conflict

A day earlier, the IRGC stated that it had launched ballistic missiles toward the Ramat David Air Base in northern Israel. Iranian authorities described the attack as a response to Israeli military actions in southern Lebanon, where ongoing operations have resulted in civilian casualties and displacement, according to Iranian claims.

The statement further alleged that the Israeli air base had been involved in operations connected to the conflict in Lebanon. The exchange highlighted how tensions on multiple fronts are increasingly becoming interconnected.

Iranian Warning Signals Possibility of Further Action

Also on Sunday, Ali Abdollahi, the chief commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned that additional military action could follow if Israeli operations in southern Lebanon and Beirut’s Dahieh district expanded further.

His remarks reflected Tehran’s increasingly firm stance amid the continuing cycle of attacks and counterattacks. Regional observers continue to monitor whether diplomatic efforts can prevent further escalation.

Missile Impact Reported in West Bank Area

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that a missile, or fragments resulting from an interception attempt, struck a settlement in the occupied West Bank on Monday. The incident reportedly caused damage to three residential properties.

Images and videos circulating online showed smoke rising from the affected area. Emergency services said there were no immediate reports of injuries. Air-raid sirens were activated across parts of the Jerusalem region and sections of the West Bank as air defence systems responded to incoming threats.

The latest developments mark another significant escalation in the ongoing confrontation, with both nations continuing to exchange military strikes amid rising regional tensions and international concern.
