Venkatesh – Actor Joins Anil Ravipudi’s New Film With Kalyan Ram
Venkatesh – Venkatesh has reportedly joined the shooting schedule of director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming Telugu film, currently referred to by the working titles VenkyAnil5 and NKRAR2. The project features Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in a key role, with Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty also part of the cast. The team is preparing to film important scenes on a large set created specifically for the production.
Major Schedule Begins on Specially Constructed Set
According to industry sources, the new schedule will include scenes involving Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty. The makers have not yet revealed the official title or storyline, but the project is being developed as a family-friendly commercial entertainer aimed at a festival audience.
The film was launched recently with a traditional pooja ceremony. Veteran producer Allu Aravind gave the first clap at the event. The launch marked the beginning of a project that has already drawn attention because it brings together performers from the Daggubati and Nandamuri film families.
Kalyan Ram’s Birthday Poster Draws Attention
The team recently marked Kalyan Ram’s birthday on the sets with a cake-cutting celebration. Production banner Shine Screens also shared a special poster presenting the actor in a stylish new look.
In its announcement, the banner indicated that the film is being planned for a Sankranthi 2027 release. While the makers have not confirmed a precise release date, the festive window is expected to be important for the film’s theatrical strategy.
Makers Warn Public Against Fake Casting Notice
The production team earlier issued a public warning after a fraudulent casting call was circulated using the film’s name. Shine Screens said the notice was not authorised and asked aspiring actors and members of the public not to share photographs, documents, personal details or money with anyone claiming to represent the project.
The studio said any legitimate casting information would be released only through its verified social media accounts and official communication channels. Such warnings have become increasingly common in the film industry as fake audition notices and unauthorised recruitment messages circulate online.
GV Prakash Joins as Music Composer
Director Anil Ravipudi recently announced that National Award-winning composer G. V. Prakash Kumar has joined the film. Ravipudi shared a promotional video to welcome the composer, describing his music as one that connects quickly with audiences.
The video included a tribute to filmmaker Jandhyala and recreated a memorable visual reference from the comedy film Aha Naa Pellanta. The light-hearted concept reflected the humour that audiences often associate with Ravipudi’s films.
Fifth Collaboration for Venkatesh and Ravipudi
The project will be the fifth collaboration between Venkatesh and Ravipudi after films including F2: Fun and Frustration, F3: Fun and Frustration and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. It is also Ravipudi’s second film with Kalyan Ram after Pataas.
Sources close to the production say the film is being shaped as a clean entertainer combining comedy, emotion and family-oriented drama. More details about the title, characters and release plans are expected from the makers in the coming months.
