Huma Qureshi: Humanism is really important to me

Huma Qureshi: who will play the legendary role of Rani Bharti again in season four of “Maharani,” has said that rather than changing her political perspective, her acting career has deepened her bond with people.

How has her personal knowledge changed as a result of playing a variety of roles in women’s leadership, and has she been curious in real-world leadership, politics, or governance? “No, my political views have not changed,” Huma told IANS.

“I believe I’m very much a humanist, and I think humanity is above all else,” she said. In actuality, working on the program has helped me become much more human.

The actress claims that she always aspires to portray powerful, three-dimensional, genuine women on television because of the significant changes in the business regarding the depiction of women and the telling of stories.

“I think my career is a testament to the fact that I always want to play real, living, breathing, three-dimensional, strong women,” she said.

Whether I’m playing Rani Bharti in Maharani, Meena in Delhi Crime, or Single Salma, I want to keep doing it in all of my upcoming movies and roles. I believe that for me, being a woman and being powerful go hand in hand,” she said.

The fourth season of “Maharani” will include Huma. Darsheel Safary and Rajeshwari Sachdev are two newcomers for the next season.

Huma Qureshi, Shweta Basu Prasad, Vipin Sharma, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Shardul Bhardwaj, Kani Kusruti, and Pramod Pathak are the main cast members of Maharani 4, which was directed by Puneet Prakash, produced by Kangra Talkies Pvt. Ltd., and developed by Subhash Kapoor.

Sony LIV will begin streaming “Maharani 4” on November 7.

Huma has previously written on “the struggle is real” and “Single Salma.”

She emphasized how, in the face of big-budget and franchise-led releases, smaller, content-driven productions sometimes struggle to obtain enough theatrical exposure.

She said, “It’s more difficult for sincere, content-driven tales to find their home since we don’t have big marketing budgets or celebrity-driven buzz. We really need a balance, but the system still favors the larger, safer titles.

Speaking about Delhi Crime Season 3, Madam Sir, who is played by Shefali again, and her crew will confront Badi Didi, who creates her empire by stealing young girls’ futures.

In addition to Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Anuraag Arora returning their roles, Tanuj Chopra comes back to helm “Delhi Crime S3.”

In strong performances, Huma Qureshi, Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji, and Anshumaan Pushkar join the cast, bringing the series’ most exciting season to life.
