Foundation – Oliver Tree’s Final Vision Set to Support Future Artists

Foundation –  The team of late singer-songwriter Oliver Tree has announced plans to establish a charitable foundation that will carry forward the musician’s long-held commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting emerging talent. The announcement comes just days after the artist’s tragic death in a helicopter accident in Brazil earlier this month.

Foundation Planned Before His Death

In a statement shared through Oliver Tree’s official Instagram account on June 21, representatives confirmed that the artist’s remains had been returned to California, his home state. The message also revealed that a foundation, titled “Dr. Oliver Tree’s Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses,” will soon be launched in accordance with instructions outlined in his will.

According to the statement, the project was personally designed by Tree before his passing and reflected one of his most important wishes. His team said they are committed to ensuring that the initiative becomes a reality and continues to spread creativity, positivity, and artistic expression among future generations.

A Mission Focused on Creativity

The representatives emphasized that the foundation was not created after the singer’s death but was part of a carefully considered plan he had already put in place. The initiative is expected to provide opportunities and resources aimed at encouraging artistic development and innovation.

Those close to the musician described the foundation as a continuation of his values and a reflection of his desire to use his success to benefit others. They noted that helping artists and inspiring creative work remained a priority for him throughout his career.

Investigation Continues Into Fatal Helicopter Crash

The announcement follows the helicopter collision that occurred in Rio de Janeiro on June 14. Authorities confirmed that six people lost their lives in the incident, including the 32-year-old performer.

Brazilian officials have stated that the investigation remains active. Law enforcement agencies conducted forensic examinations at the crash location and are awaiting technical findings from the country’s aviation accident investigation authorities.

Officials also reported that forensic identification procedures were carried out for all victims, with results being compared against records maintained by aviation operations agencies as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Longstanding Commitment to Emerging Talent

Tree had previously spoken openly about his plans for his estate and his belief that financial success should be used to support creative communities. During an appearance on The Zach Sang Show in April, he explained that he intended for his assets to help artists pursue their ambitions rather than simply be passed down through inheritance.

At the time, he expressed a desire to create opportunities for future generations, saying that artists should receive support that allows them to continue producing meaningful work. The newly announced foundation appears to reflect those goals and may become a lasting part of his legacy.

Career Interrupted During Global Tour

Known for popular tracks such as “Miss You,” Oliver Tree was actively touring when the accident occurred. The singer had been performing internationally and was scheduled to continue his world tour with a concert in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 1.

The planned performance was intended to promote his latest album, “Love You Madly Hate You Badly.” His sudden death brought the tour to an unexpected end and prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans and fellow artists around the world.

With the foundation now moving forward, Tree’s supporters hope his passion for creativity and artistic growth will continue to influence aspiring musicians and creators for years to come.
