Entertainment – Actor Supyarde Singh has stepped into film production with the launch of her new company, Anant Drishti Production Private Limited, based in Mumbai’s Andheri area. The move signals a significant shift in her professional journey as she prepares to support films that focus on emotional narratives and socially relevant themes.
New Production Venture Focused on Meaningful Cinema
Through her newly established banner, Supyarde Singh is currently working on a feature film that revolves around a sensitive social subject. Along with producing the project, she is also set to appear in the lead role. The film aims to combine strong storytelling with realistic emotions, reflecting a growing demand for content-driven cinema among audiences.
The project has brought together a team of experienced creative professionals from theatre, film, and advertising backgrounds. Director Sanjay Shastri and cinematographer Ajay Pal Singh are collaborating on the film, which is expected to begin production soon.

Sanjay Shastri has built a reputation in theatre and independent filmmaking over the years. His work includes directing more than 25 stage plays along with six short films that received recognition at various platforms. He has also been associated with two web series currently under production.
Cinematographer Ajay Pal Singh brings extensive industry experience to the project. He has worked on over 85 commercial advertisements and has also contributed to feature films. One of his recent projects is reportedly scheduled for release on Netflix in the near future.
Strong Ensemble Cast Announced
The upcoming film under Anant Drishti Production Private Limited will feature Supyarde Singh alongside actors Chandan Roy and Varun Buddhadev in central roles. The makers have also confirmed a supporting cast that includes Akhilendra Mishra, Pramod Pathak, Mukesh Bhatt, Kumar Saurabh, and Tulika Banerjee.
According to the production team, each supporting character has been designed to play an important part in the narrative, adding depth to the film’s social theme and emotional storytelling.
Supyarde Singh’s Journey in Cinema
Supyarde Singh began her acting career with filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s critically acclaimed movie ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’. The film featured music composed by A R Rahman and later earned recognition at the 65th National Film Awards. In the movie, she portrayed the character Varsha, a role that attracted attention for its emotional performance and screen presence.
Following her debut, she expanded her work across regional cinema and digital platforms. She appeared in Telugu films such as ‘Cheppina Evaru Nammaru’ and ‘Lingoccha – The Game of Love’. Her portrayal of Noorjahan in ‘Lingoccha’ received appreciation for its layered and expressive character treatment.
Apart from films, Supyarde also worked in the Hindi web series ‘I Love Us’ season 2, further strengthening her presence in the digital entertainment space.
