Dharma Productions Begins Regional Expansion

The upcoming film is being presented by Dharma Productions in association with Vaartakaar Films. The project has been produced by Vaasu Dholakia, while newcomer Jaymin takes charge as director. Veteran actor Siddharth Randeria will headline the cast, with actress Aarti Patel playing a significant role in the story.

The collaboration reflects Dharma Productions’ growing focus on regional storytelling as audiences continue to support locally rooted narratives across India’s film industries.

Studio Leadership Highlights Vision Behind Gujarati Debut

Speaking about the decision to enter Gujarati cinema, Apoorva Mehta said the company has always believed that impactful stories can connect with viewers regardless of language barriers. He noted that the Gujarati film industry is currently experiencing strong creative momentum, supported by a loyal audience base and evolving storytelling styles.

According to Mehta, “Jindagi Once More” was chosen because of its emotional depth and cultural relevance, while also carrying themes that can appeal to a wider audience beyond one language or region.

Film Focuses on Emotional Father-Son Relationship

The story of “Jindagi Once More” revolves around the emotional complexities of a father-son bond. The narrative explores how children often grow up without fully understanding the struggles, dreams, and identities their fathers carried before parenthood changed their lives.

Industry observers believe the timing of the release during Father’s Day weekend could strengthen the emotional appeal of the film among family audiences. The makers are positioning the movie as a heartfelt drama that balances personal emotions with relatable family experiences.

New Talent Takes Centre Stage

The film also introduces fresh creative talent to the industry. Jaymin is making his directorial debut with the project, while the screenplay has been written by Deep Dholakia. Alongside his work as a writer, Deep Dholakia will also appear on screen for the first time as an actor.

Another newcomer, Jahanvi Dhakan, has also joined the cast, adding a fresh face to the production. The makers believe the combination of experienced performers and emerging talent could help the film connect with both younger and family-oriented audiences.

Gujarati Cinema Continues To Gain Industry Attention

Producer Vaasu Dholakia described Dharma Productions’ involvement in Gujarati cinema as an important moment for the regional industry. He stated that the collaboration reflects growing confidence in Gujarati films, both creatively and commercially.

In recent years, regional cinema across India has expanded its influence through strong storytelling and audience engagement. Gujarati cinema, in particular, has seen increased investment and wider recognition, with filmmakers experimenting across genres ranging from family dramas to social narratives.

With a major production house like Dharma Productions stepping into the space, industry analysts expect greater visibility for Gujarati-language projects in the coming years.

“Jindagi Once More” is set for theatrical release on June 19, 2026.
