Addressing the gathering, Denis Alipov emphasized the deep-rooted relationship between India and Russia, tracing its origins back centuries before formal diplomatic ties. He highlighted how cultural connections and intellectual exchanges have sustained this partnership over time.
He noted that education has become a key pillar of collaboration, with more than 30,000 Indian students currently studying in Russia. Academic partnerships, joint programs, and research initiatives are expanding steadily. He also pointed to recent developments such as bilateral education summits and plans for Russian university campuses in India under the National Education Policy 2020.
Call for Peace and Responsible Global Progress
Spain’s Ambassador Juan Antonio March Pujol used the platform to reflect on global challenges, particularly the consequences of increasing militarization. He also spoke about the transformative role of artificial intelligence and technological advancements, noting their potential to reshape industries and expand opportunities. However, he underlined the importance of ensuring that progress remains aligned with sustainability, peace, and human welfare.

The role of educators is expected to evolve significantly, with greater emphasis on mentorship and guidance. Participants agreed that nurturing unique abilities will be essential in preparing students for a rapidly changing global landscape shaped by innovation and technology.
