Dengue – Actress Avika Gor has been admitted to a hospital after being diagnosed with dengue, with her husband Milind Chandwani sharing details about her condition and her determination to continue working despite being unwell.

Avika Gor Undergoing Treatment for Dengue
Milind shared the health update on social media on Friday night, revealing that Avika had been dealing with a fever of around 103 to 104 degrees for almost five days before her condition worsened. According to him, she was admitted to the hospital the previous night and is currently receiving medical care.
While speaking about her health, Milind also highlighted how strongly Avika remained committed to her professional responsibilities during the illness.
Actress Continued Shooting Despite High Fever
Milind said Avika completed a two-day project shoot even while suffering from a very high fever. The shoot, he explained, was completed in just one day because of her efficiency and professional ability.
After returning home, Avika took medication and used the short break to recover before travelling to Delhi for an advertisement assignment. Milind said she did not want the production team to face financial losses because of a postponement.
He added that Avika underwent tests before travelling to Delhi to make sure she had not contracted another virus. The results, according to him, did not indicate any such infection.
Milind Chandwani Praises Her Professional Commitment
Milind said he repeatedly advised Avika to postpone her work and assured her that the producers would understand her situation. However, she remained concerned about the time and money that others had already invested in the projects.
He said her decision reflected the respect she has for her work as well as for the efforts and resources of people working alongside her. Milind described her dedication to acting and her professional commitments as something he deeply admires.
He also acknowledged that such a strong attachment to one’s craft is not something he often sees in the entertainment industry.
Fans Asked to Support Avika During Recovery
Milind requested fans to keep Avika in their thoughts while she recovers and explained that she might not be able to remain active on social media during her treatment.
He also mentioned an unusual coincidence surrounding her health and professional life. Avika’s new song, titled “Bukhaar,” was scheduled to be released on the same day she was dealing with dengue and a high fever. Milind encouraged her followers to support and promote the song while she focuses on getting better.

Avika later gave followers a glimpse of her hospital stay through social media posts. In one photograph, she appeared cheerful while posing with a victory sign. She also referred to her platelet count and the release of “Bukhaar” in her post, while making it clear that dengue had left her struggling.
Another picture showed her hand connected to an intravenous drip as she continued treatment at the hospital.
