Road Rage –A routine journey turned frightening for an Indore businessman and his wife after a confrontation on a busy city road quickly escalated into a violent incident. The episode took place in the Raoji Bazar area, where a disagreement involving a motorcycle and a car ended with property damage and police intervention. Authorities have since detained the two individuals accused of carrying out the attack, and an investigation is in progress.
Incident Unfolds on a Busy Road
According to police, businessman Piyush Manwani was driving through Raoji Bazar with his wife when two young men riding a motorcycle approached from behind and overtook their vehicle. During the maneuver, the riders allegedly hit the car with their hands, leaving the occupants surprised by the sudden act.
Wanting to understand why the motorcycle riders had behaved aggressively, Manwani brought his vehicle to a stop. Instead of resolving the matter peacefully, the situation rapidly worsened as one of the riders moved toward the car in an aggressive manner.
Alleged Assault Shocks the Couple
Investigators said the pillion rider allegedly began shouting abusive remarks at the couple before picking up a bottle and striking the vehicle’s window. The unexpected attack left the businessman and his wife inside the car while the confrontation unfolded outside.
The damage caused to the vehicle and the aggressive behavior created a tense situation, prompting the matter to be reported to the local police. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported during the incident, but the episode highlighted how quickly road disagreements can turn dangerous.
Police Confirm Arrest of the Accused
Raoji Bazar Police Station SHO Umesh Yadav confirmed that officers acted promptly after receiving information about the incident. Police identified and arrested both motorcycle riders soon after the complaint was lodged.
According to the officer, the businessman was travelling with his wife when the motorcycle overtook their vehicle and allegedly struck the car. After the vehicle was stopped, the pillion rider reportedly approached, used abusive language, and damaged the car window with a bottle. The accused are now in police custody, and questioning is underway.

Police are examining the circumstances that led to the violent confrontation. Investigators are questioning both suspects to establish what triggered the dispute and whether additional offences may have been committed during the incident.
