Shahid Kapoor – Actor Marks 11 Years of Marriage With Mira Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor – Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor marked 11 years of marriage on Tuesday, sharing affectionate messages on social media to celebrate their relationship. The couple, who married in a private ceremony in Delhi on July 7, 2015, posted separate tributes that quickly drew warm reactions from fans.

Shahid shares a simple message for Mira
Shahid Kapoor posted a photograph of Mira Kapoor on Instagram with a brief but personal caption: “It’s YOU.” He added red heart emojis, keeping the anniversary message understated and intimate.
Mira responded with a playful post of her own. She shared a photograph taken at Madame Tussauds Singapore, where she posed between Shahid and his wax figure. “When 1+1 = 11. Happy Anniversary love of my life,” she wrote alongside the image.
A decade-long journey as a family
Shahid and Mira’s wedding was an intimate affair held in Delhi. Their marriage was arranged, and over the years, the couple has remained one of the most closely followed families in Bollywood.
They are parents to two children, daughter Misha and son Zain. Misha was born in 2016, while the family welcomed Zain in 2018. Although both actors and public figures maintain active social media profiles, they have generally kept their family life away from excessive public attention.
Shahid Kapoor’s recent film appearance
On the professional front, Shahid was recently seen with Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in Cocktail 2. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film has been described as a spiritual follow-up to the 2012 romantic drama Cocktail.
The story centres on Kunal, played by Shahid, and Diya, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna. The pair are deeply attached to each other but uncertain about taking the next step in their relationship. Their trip to Sicily changes after they meet Ally, Diya’s friend, played by Kriti Sanon. What begins as a relaxed holiday gradually develops into a complicated emotional situation involving trust, commitment and love.
The original Cocktail featured Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty, and became a notable release of 2012.
Return to the world of Farzi
Shahid Kapoor is also preparing to return as Sunny in Farzi 2. The first season of the Prime Video series, released in 2023, marked his debut in the streaming space.
At a Prime Video event, Shahid spoke about returning to the role, describing Sunny as one of the characters he has enjoyed playing the most. He said the new season feels like a natural continuation of the first chapter while raising the scale of the story.
The series is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Its first season followed Sunny, a gifted small-time artist who enters the dangerous world of counterfeit currency after creating an almost flawless fake note. His actions bring him into conflict with a determined task force officer played by Vijay Sethupathi.
The cast of the first season also included Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra and Amol Palekar.
