Andhra Pradesh – Naidu Alleges Online Campaign Against Coalition Government

Andhra Pradesh – Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday alleged that some social media platforms were receiving financial backing to run a negative campaign against him and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. He said false information was being circulated with the intention of undermining the coalition government.

Andhra pradesh naidu online campaign coalition government

Speaking to reporters on the third day of his visit to Kuppam, Naidu said the opposition was attempting to claim credit for projects initiated by the present administration. According to him, political rivals were continuing to make allegations even when there was no factual basis for them.

Chief Minister Criticises Previous Administration

Naidu accused the previous government of creating conditions that discouraged industries from operating in Andhra Pradesh. He said several companies had moved away from the State due to an unfavourable business environment.

The Chief Minister also alleged that the YSRCP had promoted a political culture marked by violence, abusive language, factional disputes and unruly behaviour. He said the coalition government was focused on restoring confidence among investors, businesses and the public.

Development Projects Underway Across State

Highlighting the government’s development plans, Naidu said infrastructure works were progressing in several parts of Andhra Pradesh. He stated that Kuppam was witnessing growing industrial interest and that road networks, communication systems and other basic facilities were being improved.

He said the government was working to bring investment into emerging sectors such as quantum computing and semiconductor manufacturing. The proposed Quantum Computing Centre in Amaravati is expected to begin operations by December, he said.

Naidu also referred to proposed investments by major steel companies, including ArcelorMittal and JSW Steel. He said such projects could support industrial expansion and generate employment opportunities in the State.

Water Projects and Land Dispute Resolution

The Chief Minister said the government was taking steps to settle long-pending land disputes while balancing industrial growth with environmental protection. He assured that the Galeru-Nagari project would be completed after water is brought to Kuppam through the Handri-Neeva canal.

He said improved water availability would benefit agriculture and help meet local development needs. The government, he added, was working to ensure that infrastructure and irrigation projects were completed in a planned manner.

TDP Leaders Asked to Follow Discipline

During his Kuppam tour, Naidu also held a closed-door meeting with local Telugu Desam Party leaders. He told party members that organisational posts would be assigned based on performance and contribution.

The Chief Minister said there would be no compromise in the selection of office-bearers. He asked leaders and workers to maintain discipline and ensure that their conduct protected the party’s public image.

Naidu assured workers who had remained committed to the party that their efforts would be recognised. He instructed second-level leaders to treat grassroots workers with respect and acknowledge their role in strengthening the organisation.

He said the views and support of party workers should be considered while making appointments at every level, beginning from booth committees. According to Naidu, committed cadre should receive due recognition within the party structure.

Poultry Facility Opened in Kuppam

As part of the visit, Naidu inaugurated an environment-controlled poultry farm and inspected a modern poultry shed. The facility is expected to support improved poultry management practices and contribute to local agricultural activity.
