Akhilesh Yadav’s Political Journey

Born on July 1, 1973, in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav is the son of former Defence Minister and Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and Malti Devi. He received his early education at Dholpur Military School in Rajasthan before pursuing higher studies in engineering.

Akhilesh earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Environmental Engineering from the University of Mysore and later completed a master’s degree in the same discipline from the University of Sydney in Australia. Over the years, he has remained one of the prominent political figures in Uttar Pradesh and currently serves as the national president of the Samajwadi Party.
