Investment – A delegation from Singapore completed a two-day visit to Amaravati to assess the progress of the Andhra Pradesh capital city’s ongoing development projects and to examine potential areas for future investment. The visit included detailed presentations by officials as well as on-site inspections of major infrastructure and government construction works.
Briefing on Capital Development
The delegation began its visit on Monday at the headquarters of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) in Rayapudi. During the meeting, officials presented an overview of the Amaravati master plan and shared updates on the current status of key development initiatives. The presentation focused on the long-term vision for the capital city, the progress achieved so far, and the roadmap for the remaining phases of construction.
Officials also discussed the city’s infrastructure planning and outlined sectors where international participation and investment could support future growth. Inspection of Key Infrastructure Projects
On the second day of the visit, the Singapore delegation toured several important project locations across Amaravati. The team visited Shakamuru Park and inspected trunk infrastructure roads that form a significant part of the city’s transport network.
The delegation also reviewed construction activity within the Government Complex, including the MLA and MLC towers, residential bungalows, and other associated facilities. During the site inspections, officials explained the pace of construction and highlighted the progress achieved across different components of the capital development project.
