Preparations Reviewed for November Event

During a review meeting held at the State Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister assessed the progress of preparations for the summit, which will be organised under the theme, “Navigating Change: Leadership, Technology, Trust and Trade in a Transforming World.” He instructed officials to make detailed arrangements for every aspect of the event, including the signing of investment agreements and ensuring smooth coordination with participating organisations.

Naidu also asked officials to extend invitations to leading Indian and international companies, Union Ministers, foreign delegations and representatives from various sectors. In addition, he directed that Chief Ministers of different states be invited to participate, with the aim of strengthening inter-state cooperation and encouraging wider participation.

Regional Events to Build Momentum

To expand the summit’s reach beyond the main venue, the Chief Minister proposed organising regional partnership meetings across Andhra Pradesh before the November event. Suggested locations include Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry or Kakinada, Amaravati, Anantapur and Tirupati.

According to officials, promotional campaigns will also be conducted between July and September in major cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. These roadshows are expected to raise awareness about the summit and attract investors, industry experts and institutional partners from across the country and overseas.

Focus Beyond Investment Announcements

Naidu said the Partnership Summit should not be viewed only as an opportunity to attract investment proposals or sign Memorandums of Understanding. Instead, he emphasised that it should evolve into a meaningful forum where experts, government representatives and industry leaders can deliberate on issues shaping the future of business and governance.

He said the discussions should encourage fresh thinking and generate practical ideas for strengthening multiple sectors while contributing to long-term development planning. The government is also considering the establishment of the CII Global Leadership Centre in Amaravati, which he said would further strengthen the state’s engagement with industry and policy institutions.

Wide Range of Discussion Topics Planned

The Chief Minister suggested that the summit agenda should cover subjects extending beyond industry and commerce. Areas such as agriculture, horticulture, natural farming, circular economy, spirituality and creating stress-free workplaces should also receive attention during the sessions.

He said addressing these themes alongside business and technology would help create balanced discussions that reflect both economic priorities and broader social development objectives.

Encouraging Youth and Public Participation

Naidu stressed that the summit should be organised in a way that encourages greater involvement from students, young entrepreneurs and the general public. Regional partnership meetings held before the main event would provide opportunities for aspiring innovators to present their ideas while exposing participants to new technologies and development initiatives.

He added that taking such programmes to different parts of the state would help citizens better understand the government’s development agenda while creating stronger connections between industry, academia and local communities.

The review meeting was attended by Ministers T.G. Bharath, Kondapalli Srinivas, P. Narayana, Kandula Durgesh and Gottipati Ravi Kumar, along with CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee and senior government officials, who discussed the roadmap for successfully conducting the November summit.
