AutomotiveTourism – India’s Supercar Enthusiasts Plan Cross-Country Drive to Promote Road Travel
AutomotiveTourism – A growing network of supercar owners in India is encouraging motorists to rediscover the country through long-distance road journeys. The community, known as Supercars Route, promotes self-driven travel experiences that allow families to spend more time together while exploring India’s cultural landmarks, historic destinations, and diverse landscapes.

Vision Behind the Initiative
Founded by automobile enthusiast Zain Nadeem Rais, the group believes that road trips offer a deeper connection with the country than conventional air travel. According to Rais, the objective is not merely to showcase expensive vehicles but to encourage people to experience India firsthand through carefully planned driving expeditions.
The organization brings together owners of high-performance sports cars and luxury automobiles who share a passion for driving. Members regularly discuss routes, destinations, and travel experiences while promoting responsible road tourism.
Planned Journey From Mumbai to Delhi
One of the group’s upcoming ambitions is a major drive from Mumbai to Delhi using the new expressway connecting the two cities. The members hope the route will become a landmark destination for automobile tourism in India.
As part of the proposed journey, the enthusiasts also intend to seek permission to visit important national institutions in the capital, including the Prime Minister’s Office and Rashtrapati Bhavan. The visit would symbolize their effort to highlight India’s growing appeal as a destination for luxury travel and premium driving experiences.
Expanding Routes Across Diverse Regions
Beyond the Mumbai-Delhi expedition, the community is exploring several other regions across the country. Future drives may cover destinations in Madhya Pradesh’s Chambal region, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir, and Arunachal Pradesh.
The group believes these journeys can help introduce travelers to lesser-known locations while supporting local tourism and encouraging exploration beyond traditional holiday circuits. Members see road travel as an opportunity to experience regional culture, cuisine, and heritage at a more personal level.
Members From Diverse Professional Backgrounds
Supercars Route currently consists of around 100 members from various professional sectors. The community includes investment professionals, entrepreneurs, construction business owners, and retired individuals who have built successful careers before pursuing their passion for automobiles.
Most participants are between 40 and 60 years of age, creating a diverse network united by a shared interest in performance vehicles and long-distance driving. The group emphasizes friendship, travel experiences, and responsible ownership rather than competition.
Inspiring Aspirations Through Passion and Hard Work
Many members purchased their supercars only within the last few years, reflecting the growing popularity of luxury automobiles among successful professionals in India. Vehicle values within the group range from approximately ₹2.5 crore to ₹13 crore, representing some of the most advanced performance machines available in the market.
Rais says the community also hopes to inspire younger generations. By sharing stories of personal achievement and dedication, members want to demonstrate that ambitious goals can be reached through persistence, professional success, and long-term commitment. The group believes such examples can motivate aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals to pursue their dreams while maintaining a passion for travel and exploration.
