Chief Minister Recalls Historic Electoral Verdict

Marking the second anniversary of the 2024 election results, Naidu shared a message on social media platform X, describing June 4 as a significant milestone in Andhra Pradesh’s political journey. The date marks the counting of votes cast in the simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha elections held in the state.

According to the Chief Minister, the overwhelming support received from voters represented more than just an electoral victory. He said it reflected the responsibility entrusted by citizens to guide Andhra Pradesh toward progress and long-term development.

Focus on Inclusive Welfare and Growth

Naidu stated that the coalition government has been working continuously to meet public expectations since assuming office. He noted that the administration’s priorities include improving the lives of farmers, women, young people, government employees, workers, and other sections of society.

He added that the government is pursuing balanced regional development while aiming to build a society that offers equal opportunities for all. Maintaining public confidence and ensuring broad-based prosperity remain central objectives of the administration, he said.

The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to voters and supporters, saying the government is striving to govern in a manner that reflects the faith placed in it by the people.

Ministers Praise Leadership and Progress

Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu also marked the occasion through a social media post. He credited Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership for accelerating the state’s development agenda and reconstruction efforts following the coalition’s electoral success.

Atchannaidu stated that the government has remained committed to implementing welfare and development programmes while working toward the vision of a prosperous and progressive Andhra Pradesh. He described the Chief Minister’s leadership and long-term planning as important factors in driving the state’s advancement.

Coalition Cites Strong Public Confidence

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), through its official social media account, highlighted the scale of the alliance’s electoral performance in 2024. The party noted that securing 164 seats in the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly reflected a remarkable level of public support.

The post further stated that the coalition government has spent the past two years focusing on development projects and welfare measures in an effort to honor the trust placed in it by voters.

NDA’s Dominant Performance in 2024 Elections

The NDA alliance in Andhra Pradesh, consisting of the TDP, Jana Sena Party, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), achieved a decisive victory in the 2024 state elections. The coalition won 164 Assembly constituencies, leaving only a small number of seats to the opposition.

The alliance also performed strongly in the parliamentary elections, capturing 21 of the state’s 25 Lok Sabha seats. The result established one of the most significant electoral mandates in Andhra Pradesh’s recent political history and laid the foundation for the coalition government’s current administration.

As the government completes two years since that landmark verdict, its leaders continue to underline their commitment to welfare, development, and governance aimed at fulfilling the expectations of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
