Politics – Pawan Kalyan Unveils New Panel to Encourage Social Unity

Politics –  Jana Sena Party (JSP) president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has announced the creation of a new committee named “Sena Galam,” describing it as an initiative focused on strengthening social harmony, encouraging responsible political discourse, and safeguarding constitutional principles. The announcement was made on Sunday during a meeting with senior party leaders at the party headquarters in Mangalagiri.

Committee Formed With Focus on Inclusive Politics

Speaking at the gathering, Pawan Kalyan said the newly established committee would operate with a strong commitment to the Constitution while promoting respect for people from all social backgrounds. He noted that preserving national unity and encouraging constructive public engagement would remain central to the committee’s objectives.

According to him, Sena Galam will also serve as a platform to represent the concerns, aspirations, and expectations of younger generations, particularly Gen Z citizens, who are increasingly seeking meaningful participation in public affairs and governance.

Call for an End to Divisive Political Practices

During his address, the Jana Sena chief expressed concern over political strategies that rely on social divisions. He argued that criticism in a democratic system should be addressed through accountability and dialogue rather than attempts to mobilize communities along caste lines.

Pawan Kalyan said that certain political approaches encourage confrontation between social groups whenever individuals or organizations face criticism. Such practices, he observed, can weaken social cohesion and create unnecessary divisions among communities.

He emphasized that political organizations should move beyond methods that contribute to polarization and instead adopt approaches that encourage mutual understanding and public trust.

Commitment to Responsible Public Life

The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that Jana Sena seeks to position itself as a politically responsible organization that prioritizes social welfare and democratic values. He stated that the establishment of Sena Galam reflects the party’s broader vision of promoting constructive engagement in public life.

According to him, political leadership carries a responsibility to strengthen unity rather than deepen differences. He said democratic institutions and constitutional principles should guide political conduct at all levels.

Concerns Over Growing Social Tensions

Pawan Kalyan also highlighted what he described as a troubling trend in contemporary politics, where the actions of individuals are frequently associated with their caste, religion, or community identity. He warned that such generalizations often contribute to misunderstanding, hostility, and social tension.

He noted that personal mistakes or misconduct should not become a basis for targeting entire communities. In his view, assigning collective responsibility to social groups for the actions of individuals can create resentment and damage social relationships.

Individual Accountability Should Remain the Focus

The Jana Sena leader further stated that some individuals attempt to divert attention from their own shortcomings by invoking regional, religious, or caste-based sentiments. Such tactics, he said, shift attention away from genuine accountability and can complicate public discussions.

He stressed that every individual should be judged based on their own actions and decisions. Public debate, he added, should focus on facts and personal responsibility rather than drawing entire communities into controversies involving specific individuals.

Concluding his remarks, Pawan Kalyan said the newly formed Sena Galam committee would work toward encouraging informed political participation, strengthening social harmony, and upholding constitutional values while providing a voice for the younger generation in shaping the future of public discourse.
