According to sources, 38-year-old Prateek Yadav experienced a sudden health complication during the early hours of Wednesday. Family members rushed him to the Civil Hospital in Lucknow, where doctors reportedly declared him dead shortly after arrival.
Soon after receiving the information, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav reached the hospital. He later visited King George’s Medical University, where post-mortem formalities were scheduled to take place. Despite the media presence outside both medical institutions, the Samajwadi Party chief avoided public interaction and maintained silence during the visit.
