Dhamaal 4 – Indra Kumar Expands the Franchise’s Treasure Hunt Comedy
Dhamaal 4 – Indra Kumar returns to the familiar comic world of the Dhamaal series with its fourth chapter, bringing together a large ensemble cast for a treasure hunt driven by misunderstandings, rivalry and escalating chaos. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Esha Gupta and Sanjeeda Shaikh.

A century-old treasure sets the plot in motion
The story centres on a hidden fortune believed to have belonged to Shaitaan Singh more than a century ago. Information about the treasure’s location is linked to Prithvi, played by Upendra Limaye, whose unreliable memory becomes the starting point for the chase.
Once the secret reaches the wider group, several characters set off in pursuit of the same prize. Their journey leads them toward a remote island identified by a large letter “M.” As each person tries to get ahead of the others, the plot moves through mistaken clues, sudden detours and a series of confrontations.
Situational humour remains central to the film
Like the earlier films in the franchise, Dhamaal 4 does not rely on realism for its comedy. Instead, it builds scenes around unusual circumstances and the contrasting personalities of its characters. Jungle mishaps, survival challenges and pirate-related episodes form part of the adventure as the treasure hunt unfolds.
The first half moves quickly and includes references that may appeal to viewers familiar with previous Dhamaal films. Much of the humour comes from the characters reacting to increasingly improbable situations rather than from a conventional narrative structure.
Large cast carries the comic momentum
Ajay Devgn leads the ensemble, while Sanjay Mishra contributes several of the film’s more prominent comic moments. Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi return to the franchise with the on-screen pairing that has been a regular feature of the series.
Riteish Deshmukh also has a substantial role, appearing alongside Anjali Anand, who plays his wife, Paro. Their scenes add a domestic comic angle to the wider treasure chase. Sanjeeda Shaikh joins the group and becomes part of the film’s shifting alliances and misunderstandings.
Ravi Kishan plays Adhoora, a pirate leader whose arrival introduces another layer to the adventure. Upendra Limaye’s character remains important throughout because the search depends on the fragments of information he holds. Esha Gupta appears in a supporting role within the ensemble.
Indra Kumar maintains the franchise’s established tone
Indra Kumar directs the film in the broad, high-energy style associated with the Dhamaal franchise. The screenplay keeps the story moving between jungle settings, island sequences and chase-driven set pieces. The film’s scale is designed for a theatrical setting, with the action and comic situations presented on a larger canvas.
The music supports the upbeat mood without taking focus away from the central comedy. Songs including Chatni and Qeher are used to maintain the film’s celebratory atmosphere during key moments.
Dhamaal 4 follows the formula that has defined the franchise: a group of mismatched people chasing the same goal, with confusion increasing at every stage. Its appeal is likely to rest on the ensemble cast, the fast-paced treasure hunt and the familiar brand of situational comedy.
