Education – Class 10 Results Show Steady Improvement Under State Reforms
Education – Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Friday extended his congratulations to students who successfully cleared the Class 10 examinations, noting a visible improvement in overall results this year. He attributed the upward trend to recent policy changes and focused efforts by the state’s coalition government to strengthen the education system.

Rise in Overall Pass Percentage
According to official figures, the pass rate has increased by more than four percentage points compared to last year. Describing this as an encouraging development, Kalyan said the improvement indicates that targeted reforms are beginning to deliver measurable outcomes. He emphasized that consistent planning and execution have contributed to this progress.
Leadership and Policy Direction
Kalyan credited the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for prioritizing education reforms and ensuring their effective implementation. He noted that the administration has taken a structured approach to improving academic standards, infrastructure, and student engagement across the state.
He also acknowledged the role of Education Minister Nara Lokesh in driving key initiatives aimed at enhancing learning outcomes. According to Kalyan, coordinated efforts between policymakers and education authorities have helped create a more supportive academic environment.
Key Initiatives Supporting Students
Among the initiatives highlighted were the Mega Parent-Teachers Meet and a focused 100-day action plan implemented ahead of the examinations. These programs were designed to strengthen communication between parents and schools while also providing structured academic support to students during the crucial pre-exam period.
Officials believe that these measures helped identify learning gaps early and allowed teachers to provide targeted guidance. The emphasis on parental involvement also ensured that students received encouragement and monitoring at home, contributing to improved performance.
Improvement in Government School Results
One of the most notable achievements this year has been the rise in pass percentage among government school students. The success rate increased from 72.8% last year to 78.39% this year, marking a significant improvement.
Kalyan described this as a commendable milestone, particularly because government schools cater to a large number of students from diverse and often underprivileged backgrounds. He said the progress reflects better teaching methods, improved resources, and stronger administrative oversight.
Recognition for Teachers and Officials
The Deputy Chief Minister also took the opportunity to appreciate the dedication of teachers and officials in the Education Department. He acknowledged their efforts in implementing reforms at the grassroots level and ensuring that students were adequately prepared for their examinations.
He stressed that sustained commitment from educators is essential to maintaining this positive trend and further improving academic outcomes in the coming years.
Looking Ahead
While celebrating the current success, Kalyan emphasized the importance of building on these gains. He noted that continued focus on quality education, student support systems, and teacher training will be crucial to achieving long-term improvements.
The government, he said, remains committed to introducing further initiatives aimed at strengthening the education sector and ensuring that students are better equipped for future academic and career opportunities.
