She had been discharged from a hospital just a day earlier after being treated for blood pressure-related complications. Following the incident, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Assam launched a probe that led to the arrest of seven individuals. Those taken into custody include event organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta, Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma, his cousin Sandipan Garg, two personal security officers, a bandmate, and another singer associated with the event. All accused are currently in judicial custody.
