The first alert reached officials at approximately 7:28 am, followed by a second email sent around 7:49 am to Speaker Vijender Gupta. The timing of the messages prompted immediate concern, given the significance of the day’s proceedings at the Assembly.

In response, multiple security agencies quickly initiated a comprehensive inspection of the Assembly premises. Teams, including bomb disposal units and local police personnel, carried out detailed checks to ensure the safety of the building and its surroundings.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia confirmed that no suspicious objects or materials had been discovered during the initial rounds of inspection. However, he noted that search operations were still ongoing as a precautionary measure.

Authorities also implemented additional security arrangements across the premises to maintain order and prevent any potential risk during the budget session.
