HealthUpdate – Bollywood actor Salman Khan was seen late Tuesday evening stepping out of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where his father, celebrated screenwriter Salim Khan, is currently under medical care.
Family Visits Following Hospital Admission
Salim Khan, 90, was taken to Lilavati Hospital earlier in the day after experiencing swelling-related complications. According to hospital sources, he was brought to the emergency department at around 8:30 am and later shifted to the Intensive Care Unit for close monitoring.
Salman Khan arrived at the hospital after leaving a film shoot in Madh Island. Family members, including Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Arpita Khan, and actor Aayush Sharma, were also seen entering the hospital premises as news of the senior writer’s health condition spread.
Salman Khan Seen Leaving Hospital Late Night
Late in the evening, Salman Khan exited the hospital and headed toward his vehicle amid a gathering of photographers outside the premises. Despite the commotion, the actor maintained a composed demeanor. Video footage captured him briefly closing his eyes while seated in his car, a moment that appeared reflective as he departed.
The actor did not interact with the media and left without making any public statement regarding his father’s health.
Medical Team Monitoring Salim Khan’s Condition
A statement released by Dr. Jalil Parkar confirmed that Salim Khan had been admitted under his supervision and was currently in the ICU. The veteran writer was initially attended to in the emergency department before being transferred for specialized care.
A multidisciplinary team of doctors, including neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, and Dr. Bineet Ahluwalia, has been overseeing his treatment. Hospital authorities stated that the patient is stable but remains under close observation.
The medical team has refrained from sharing further clinical details, citing the family’s request for privacy. A formal medical bulletin is expected to be issued following consultation with family members.
