According to the inquiry, several prominent local figures reportedly used their WhatsApp groups to encourage locals to gather. According to police, their goal was to cause chaos and hinder the administration’s and law enforcement’s ability to carry out the operation.

The violence that broke out during the municipal corporation’s demolition operation near the Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque in the Turkman Gate neighborhood earlier in the day was attributed to 30 individuals, according to Delhi Police.
