At the Delhi-based NDTV Indian of the Year 2025 ceremony, Vicky Kaushal was recently honored with the Actor of the Year award. His outstanding portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava was acknowledged with the prize. The actor broke down in tears as he accepted the honor and dedicated it to his family and his newborn kid. “Thank you, this is for my family and my little one who has come in as a blessing,” he stated on stage. It was very difficult after becoming a parent, and yeh pehli baar hai jo main shehar chhodhke aaya hoon. It was very difficult, but I have no doubt that he will be proud of his father when he grows up and sees this. The actor acknowledged that leaving his infant behind while traveling for business was emotionally taxing, something he had never had to do in his professional life.

Vicky said that everything still seems brand-new and overwhelming in the greatest way when asked whether parenting was difficult. He said that instead than stressing about obligations right now, he is savoring each moment. He expressed his feelings by saying, “It is too new to feel any challenges.” Right now, everything is amazing. Right now, everything is so lovely. I have no idea what the main shabdon mein nahi baiyan kar sakta ke kya feeling hai is (I can’t put it into words). I could list a plethora of goals, but it’s simply a really unique feeling, and God has been so kind. This one is for my whole family, but particularly for him, and the family is really thrilled. By acknowledging that he is now “better at changing diapers than acting,” Vicky also added a humorous touch that immediately won hearts on social media.
