Jaishankar: India’s top diplomat, meets with Netanyahu before of the Israeli PM’s important visit to Delhi
Jaishankar: During his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed optimism that the two countries’ strategic alliance would “grow from strength to strength” and spoke about measures to further collaboration in the areas of technology, economics, connectivity, and security.

On his two-day tour, Jaishankar landed in Israel on Tuesday. He met with Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa’ar and Minister of Economy and Industry Nir Barkat, and he also paid a visit to President Isaac Herzog. Later in the day, he met with Netanyahu.

Netanyahu will shortly go to India.
In a social media post, Netanyahu acknowledged the meeting and shared photos from it. Jaishankar’s visit coincides with Netanyahu’s planned trip to India being planned. Following their recent phone conversation, Netanyahu said that he and Prime Minister Modi will be “meeting very soon.”
After attending the prestigious Sir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi, Jaishankar traveled to Tel Aviv. On December 15, he also went to the 5th session of the India-UAE Strategic Dialogue and the 16th India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting.
