Tejashwi Yadav: The BJP posts the missing poster of with the caption, “9th fail”: “Hiding one’s face from the media”
Tejashwi Yadav: Days after the Mahagathbandhan was humiliated by the NDA in the Bihar Assembly election, the BJP circulated a missing poster of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. The official X feed of the saffron party’s Bihar section published a poster with Tejashwi’s picture and calling him a “9th fail.”

The RJD leader was last seen “hiding his face from the media,” according to the poster.
Notably, since the RJD’s heavy loss in the elections, Tejashwi Yadav has barely been seen in public, which has previously prompted criticism from opposition parties. Discontent inside the RJD also surfaced after the election defeat. News of disagreements inside Tejashwi Yadav’s family also made headlines at this time, as his sister broke off relationships with the family and the party due to disrespect and a lack of responsibility.
Tejashwi was chosen as the LoP.
On November 29, Tejashwi Yadav was overwhelmingly chosen by the Mahagathbandhan MLA to head the coalition in the state assembly. Prior to the legislature’s five-day session, the RJD leader convened a meeting in Patna where a resolution was made in this respect.
Elections in Bihar in 2025
The NDA won 202 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Election, giving them a resounding victory. The Janata Dal (United) made a strong return and increased its total to 85 seats, while the BJP became the biggest party among its partners with 89 seats. The HAM and RLM gained five and four seats, respectively, while the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), headed by Chirag Paswan, took 19 seats.
The Mahagathbandhan, on the other hand, was soundly defeated and only secured 35 seats overall. While the Congress was only able to obtain six seats, the RJD, which had been the biggest party in 2020, was reduced to 25.
