Basti Bus Accident: Truck-Bus Collision Near Top Bhatta Leaves 4 Dead, 11 Injured

Basti Bus Accident: On Monday night, December 15, a truck and a bus crashed head-on in the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, resulting in four fatalities and eleven injuries. The bus was traveling from Belhar Kalan, Sant Kabir Nagar, to Ajmer in Rajasthan when the accident happened close to Top Bhatta under the Kotwali region.

The wounded passengers were taken to the district hospital for treatment, according to Sub-Inspector of Police (SP) Abhinandan. “Four people have died,” said Khalid Rizwan, SIC of the District Hospital. Two are being referred from elsewhere, and eleven more people have been accepted here.

According to Rizwan, the others are undergoing medical care and are in stable condition with just minor wounds. He informed the news agency IANS that the therapy is going well and that everything is being watched carefully.

The tragedy happened on Monday at approximately 11 p.m., according to reports. The deceased’s names have not yet been made public. According to reports, the truck driver lives in Kanpur.

A truck and a bus collided head-on in the Bade Gaon Choki region, which is within the jurisdiction of Kotwali police, according to Deputy Inspector General of Police Sanjeev Tyagi. On their route to take part in the Ajmer Sharif, the bus was transporting people from Sant Kabir Nagar.
