Parliament Winter Session: Parliament heats up over Amit Shah vs. Rahul Gandhi, and the Home Minister criticizes the Congress with a “Generational Vote Chor”

Parliament Winter Session: During the current discussion in the Lok Sabha over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral registers, Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi engaged in a verbal sparring match. Gandhi challenged the home minister to a discussion on the suspected electoral cheating as he was speaking to the parliament. Shah underlined, nevertheless, that he alone has the authority to choose the speech’s sequence. Chaos erupted as numerous states continued to dispute revising their voter lists. The Election Commission has confirmed that the procedure was in accordance with the constitution, despite the opposition’s claims that the amendment was carried out to exclude votes from marginalized groups.

Rahul Gandhi accused the home minister of “poll rigging” and challenged him to a debate on his news conferences while he was speaking to the chair. “Let’s argue about my press conferences.” Gandhi said, “I dare you to debate my three news conferences, Amit Shah ji.

No one can compel him to talk on a certain topic, Shah said, adding that the opposition leaders shouldn’t cause mayhem during the address. He said that all inquiries would be addressed, but the opposition has to be patient.

“I want to be clear first. I will choose the sequence of my speech based on my extensive expertise. They need to exercise patience. I’ll respond to any inquiries. However, they are unable to determine the sequence of my statements,” Shah said.

By claiming that the “Gandhi-Nehru family” had a history of manipulating polls, the home minister further charged the Congress of vote stealing. The opposition leaders, however, said that while Shah made several historical allusions, he neglected to discuss the present circumstances.
