Chief Minister Appeals for Dengue Prevention Measures

On the occasion of National Dengue Day, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also urged citizens to remain alert against mosquito-borne diseases and maintain cleanliness in their surroundings. In a message shared on social media platform X, he said dengue can be controlled through awareness, hygiene, caution, and proper medical treatment.

He appealed to residents to prevent water accumulation in homes and nearby areas, stating that stagnant water increases the risk of mosquito breeding. The Chief Minister encouraged communities to work collectively toward keeping neighbourhoods clean and maintaining public health safety during the changing weather conditions.

Health officials in several districts have already been directed to increase monitoring efforts and conduct awareness drives as part of seasonal disease prevention campaigns.

Appeal for Public Support During Fuel Supply Pressure

Earlier this week, the Chief Minister also spoke about the challenges arising from the ongoing conflict in West Asia and its effect on global fuel supplies. His remarks came after fuel prices, including petrol and diesel, were increased by Rs 3 per litre.

Addressing the public on Friday, Yogi Adityanath said the country had previously faced major challenges together during the Covid-19 pandemic under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Referring to the present energy situation, he noted that disruptions in international supply chains have impacted the availability and pricing of petroleum products and LPG.

The Chief Minister stated that the government is absorbing significant financial pressure to manage the situation and appealed to citizens to cooperate with authorities during this period. He added that public support remains important whenever the country faces global economic or supply-related challenges.

Relief Measures Ordered After Storm and Lightning Damage

On Thursday, the Chief Minister instructed district authorities to immediately assist affected families and ensure compensation reaches victims without delay.

According to official information released earlier, several districts reported damage to houses, livestock losses, and casualties due to severe weather conditions over the past 24 hours. Yogi Adityanath directed administrative officials to visit impacted locations, monitor relief distribution, and provide continuous updates to the state government every three hours.

The state administration has also been asked to maintain coordination with local disaster response teams and ensure that emergency support reaches vulnerable areas quickly. Authorities are currently assessing property losses and preparing reports for further assistance measures.
