Playground – Aarush Bhola Says Imperfection Makes People More Naturally Appealing
Playground – Actor and content creator Aarush Bhola, who is part of the newly released fifth season of Playground, believes that people do not need to chase physical perfection to look appealing. Speaking about the growing use of artificial intelligence in entertainment, Bhola said that natural imperfections can often make a face appear more attractive than carefully engineered symmetry.

Bhola discussed the subject while speaking to IANS alongside fellow Playground 5 mentors Elvish Yadav and Tejasswi Prakash during the show’s promotional activities at a five-star property in the city. The conversation touched on AI, appearance and the way technology is increasingly becoming part of gaming and entertainment formats.
Aarush Bhola Shares His View on Perfect Appearance
Bhola recalled seeing an image that made him think about how excessive symmetry can sometimes affect the way a person looks. According to him, the face in the picture appeared ordinary at first, but looked unnatural after being altered to create greater symmetry.
He explained that small differences between features, such as one eye being slightly higher or lower than the other, can contribute to a person’s overall appearance. Bhola also pointed to the growing tendency among some people to undergo cosmetic procedures in an effort to achieve what they consider a perfect look.
His point was that perfection is not necessarily the key to looking good. In his view, when every feature is made overly symmetrical or flawless, the result can lose some of the character that makes an individual distinctive.
Playground 5 Focuses on Competition Without Excessive Conflict
Bhola also spoke about the tone of Playground 5 and how it differs from some other reality formats. While competition remains central to the show, he said the participants are not encouraged to cross personal boundaries simply for entertainment.
According to the actor, the season combines rivalry with games, strategy and team-based challenges. He described the atmosphere as competitive but positive, with contestants focused on helping their respective teams perform better rather than creating unnecessary personal confrontations.
Bhola said the show offers plenty of entertainment beyond arguments and rivalries. Contestants have to make strategic decisions, participate in different games and work together, giving the format a broader focus than conflict alone.
A Format Designed for a New Generation of Viewers
Bhola believes Playground has evolved into a format that is suited to younger audiences and the changing digital entertainment landscape. He described the latest season as an updated take on reality television, with a greater emphasis on gaming, creators and internet personalities.
The format also provides a platform for emerging influencers and gamers to reach audiences through a competitive entertainment setting. Rather than relying solely on established television personalities, Playground brings together participants from the expanding digital creator ecosystem.
Gaming, Creators and Entertainment Come Together
Playground combines gaming challenges, entertainment, competition and influencer culture within a single format. Set around the concept of a virtual playground, the show features young creators, gamers and online personalities competing across different challenges.
Alongside the games, participants must manage team dynamics, friendships and rivalries as the competition progresses. This combination gives the series a distinct identity within the growing market for digital reality entertainment.
Playground Season 5 is currently available for streaming on Amazon MX Player.
